Mafia execution?

The first novel by former policeman Peter Šloser Mafia execution?

The first novel by former police officer Petr Šloser takes us to the fictional border village of Híd, where a story based on real events takes place.

But far more significant matters, with implications for the murder investigation, are taking place in the capital, where white-collar jobs decide whether the right bosses sit in the right seats to go after the killers, while others meet the mobsters at the pumps and take cash from them.

The author describes not only the real behind-the-scenes of crime and the (in)ability of the state forces fighting it, but also the connection of corrupt politicians to crooked cops and the mafia. Everything that he perceived with his senses while investigating mafia murders and other crimes, he presents in a form that is incommunicable with reality.
