Miles Davis: Live-Evil - LP Record - Main image

LP Record Miles Davis's "Live Evil" album features compilations from various Miles Davis bands. One recording comes from a 1970 performance at the "Cellar Door", featuring a band line-up of Miles Davis, bassist Michael Henderson, drummer Jack DeJohnette, guitarist John McLaughlin, saxophonist Gary Bartz, and Keith Jarrett. The band comes across as groovy, fast, and extremely funky. The second line-up consists of Ron Carter, Dave Holland, Chick Corea, and Herbie Hancock. This album is complex, yet brilliant. Tracks like "Sivad", "Funky Tonk", and "What I Say" reveal sheer enthusiasm and fantastic live material. Miles Davis's "Live Evil" features various line-ups of Miles Davis bands.
