Mummy - DVD

Egypt two thousand years ago. Ambitious Princess Ahmanet plans to take over her father's reign over the country, and she does not hesitate to ally herself with the dark forces of the god Seth to achieve her goal. They punished her by mummifying her alive and burying her so that no one would find her. But he did.

Two thousand years later, adventurer Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) and archaeologist Jenny Halsey (Annabell Wallis) find themselves at her eternal resting place. They accidentally discovered Ahmanet's sarcophagus, which Jenny promptly had transported to London for further examination. Jenny works for a secret organisation called Prodigium, whose mission is to hunt down and capture the most dangerous monsters. Prodigium director Dr. Jekyll (Russell Crowe) has quite a lot of experience in this regard.
But the plane carrying the mummy of the cursed princess does not reach its destination, but crashes to the ground shortly before landing. Nick miraculously manages to survive the crash, but soon discovers that death in the wreckage of the plane would have been a much better solution. Princess Ahmanet has awakened and longs for world domination. And for that, he needs Nick.
