My Thousand Lives
Audioversion of memories of J. P. Belmond's world premiere!
Actor and dubber Jiří Krampol took over the dubbing of Jean-Paul Belmondo after Jan Tříska emigrated at the end of the 1970s. His voice was then linked with the legend of the French New Wave for more than a quarter of a century and became an inseparable part of it for Czech television viewers. He has dubbed Belmondo in 28 films, including The Beast, The Man from Rio and No Good Deed. Now the Czech listener has a unique opportunity to hear the memories of J. P. Belmondo "in his own voice".
In this distinctive memoir, Belmondo tells of his happy childhood and the struggle he fought for his dream of becoming an actor. He talks about his life's passion - boxing, fast cars, stunts and stunts. About his life partners and loves, about his beloved family, about his collaboration with the greats of cinema. Life seemed easy and bright to him despite all the drama and cruel losses. The most important thing for him was to have fun and play. He was convinced that a comedian had great privilege: the right to preserve your youth. To remain a child and create an illusion, to revel in the present moment.
