Nerez & Lucia: Cela - LP

According to their own words, the band "returned in a big way" to the time of the legendary first album Nerez Masopust. The collection contains 13 songs written mainly by Lucia Šoralová and Zdeněk Vřešt'ál. Vít Sázavský has a big share in the creation of the recording - as it was the case with Masopust. In addition to the main authors, Slovak poet Silvia Kaščáková contributed several lyrics in Slovak and Czech. The album is mainly adorned by the unheard vocal performances of the three main protagonists, who are joined by two more singers - multi-instrumentalist Robert Fischmann and French double bassist Grégorian Brun. Five solo singers on one record, it hasn't been done here for a long time! They sing in Czech, Slovak, French and Spanish, and even the challenging choral parts will convince you with their incredible colour. The whole line-up is completed by accordionist and saxophonist David Lomič.

Nerez & Lucia follows the work of the famous folk band Nerez, founded in 1981 by the trio Zuzana Navarová - Zdeněk Vřešt'ál - Vít Sázavský. Nerez was active until the mid-1990s, and its members occasionally met on stage until the untimely death of Zuzana Navarová (2004). In 2017, Vřešt'ál and Sázavský teamed up with Lucia Šoralová and Nerez entered the next stage of its existence. In 2019, the band released their debut album Zlom under the expanded name Nerez & Lucia.
