Erik is one of the best snowboarders in the world. But also a secretive boy who likes silence and knitted sweaters. When his dad decides to move in with his new wife, Erik doesn' t even think that anything could change for him. But then his stepbrother bursts into his life, who is probably his complete opposite!
Kasper prefers the hustle and bustle of the city and the silence scares him. Perhaps that' s why he fell in love with music so much. If he' s not playing the piano, he' s always listening to something. In contrast to Erik, he is a hurricane who dyes his hair, talks about practically anything, and above all, expresses his emotions quite loudly. Two guys in a big house in the middle of nowhere.
Two different worlds. What if they find much more in each other than they expected.?

He was just a guy who got under my skin. I loved his endless monologues, listening to songs, and his zest for life. Kasper was always someone who wasn' t afraid to be himself. Even if it meant that someone wouldn' t exactly love him.
- Klára Pospíšilová on writing the character Kasper

Of course, for a while I was tempted to write an arrogant guy who is completely sure of himself and will confidently face Kasper' s energy. But writing about a guy who' s a snowboarding star, who' s successful and very handsome, and also extremely shy — that' s probably even sexier, right?
- Eva Pospíšilová on writing the character Erika

When reading Nocturne for Erik, you will feel as if you are locked in a house in the middle of the mountains with both main characters. A snowstorm is raging outside the windows, you have nowhere to run and you are the one standing between the calm and withdrawn Erik and the unguided missile Kasper, and you alternately want to hug or shake them both. So everyone, pull out your knitted sweaters, make some tea, you have to read this.
