Only a murderer tells the truth

A lifelong dream came true for the aging painter Pribyl. He became interested in his paintings and was offered to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts. He, who until now has led the unremarkable life of an unknown poor painter, suddenly becomes a celebrity. It is a success with young women and in the company of wealthy businessmen. Fame and money are rising to his head, but he doesn't get to enjoy them for long. His corpse is found at night on the premises of an international painting workshop where he was invited as a lecturer. There are several people with reasons to kill. The case gets even more complicated when another murder occurs, this time of an art collector.
