Police

Episode 10 of the most successful Nordic crime series

Police officers who investigated the crimes are found dead at the sites where several murders were committed in the past that were not solved. All of them were also murdered in the most brutal way.

The best of crime fiction

The police lack any clue and have to do without their best investigator. In the meantime, a badly injured man is lying in a coma in hospital. His room is guarded by police officers and no one is allowed to know the mysterious patient's name.

"There is no shortage of typical Nesbo passages, in which he uses double entendres to lead the reader by the nose, and now passages, when the reader is supposed to see through the apparent ambiguity, only to find out in the end that it's not double talk and that's exactly what's happening, what the author was describing in the first plan. Unfortunately, the frantic and slightly kinky action that the reader remembers from The Phantom does not appear in Police until the very end; compared to the previous volume, Police is more serious and civil. All in all, The Police represents a distinctly above-average Nordic crime drama. " iLiteratura.cz
