Pop Iggy: Every Loser (Limited Edition) - LP
Iggy Pop's nineteenth solo album. It is released in several formats and many interesting musicians have contributed to it, including Flea and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duff McKagan of Guns N'Roses, Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam and Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Chris Chaney of Jane's Addiction. The recording was produced by Andrew Watt (e.g. Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Ozzy Osbourne or Elton John).
The American singer, songwriter and actor is known as the godfather of punk. He was the leader of the proto-punk formation The Stooges, which formed in 1967. Famous for its raw, almost primitive rock style, it was particularly famous for its wild concerts, at which Iggy Pop often self-mutilated. Her vivacious style influenced a number of rock bands, and she was later cited as a role model by the famous Nirvana. Iggy Pop has been a solo artist since 1977. In the early days, he often collaborated with David Bowie, with whom he had a long friendship. Iggy's music oscillates between garage rock, punk rock, hard rock, heavy metal but also jazz, new wave and blues.
