Postcards from Italy

Grace Quinn is heartbroken, has a lot of worries with her mother, and sees the future as black. She works for a company that rents out warehouses to people, and her only source of adventure is cleaning out the old ones that the tenants have stopped paying for and that contain a lot of treasure.

One of these is the warehouse of one Connie Levin – but in it, Grace discovers a real treasure: a collection of art of unspeakable value, and also a stack of letters and diary entries that might perhaps reveal the secret of his origins.

Through them, Grace learns about Connie's life and her admirable decision to go to Italy at the end of World War II to find her love. Many obstacles awaited her along the way, but the guileless and determined Englishwoman always tried to deal with them as best she could.

Stunned Grace takes inspiration from Connie and finally decides to do something about herself – while getting Connie's assets to her family, if she has any. He's going on a journey. Also to Italy. To a pink villa looking down from the high cliffs onto the picturesque Riviera.
