In his sixth detective story, Peter Šloser once again opens the thirteenth chamber and guides us through the unknown world of the police backstage and the crime he has been actively fighting for thirty years. The author, who lived through the hot years in the NAKA (National Criminal Agency), makes us think about who the real criminals are in a system built on the principles of justice.

In the story inspired by reality, we experience the brutal murder of a businessman in 2020, a shootout between members of Bratislava crime groups, the investigation of a specific case of carousel fraud, and the author has not forgotten about the police top brass who broke their oath of office. Will the investigators be able to get to the root of the crimes committed or will a vis maior intervene, placing an insurmountable barrier in front of them? The efforts of honest men of the law are, as in reality, hampered because they are opposed by seasoned matadors capable of teaching crime theory in college.
