Reason arguments and fairy tale worlds
What language can be used to talk about the Christian faith today? This is the question that the author poses to the well-known Christian author C. S. Lewis, whose work continues to enjoy great popularity with people of all faiths even after all these years. Lewis is presented here not only as an apologist - the author of books and essays explicitly defending Christianity - but also as a writer whose stories for children and adults continue to capture the imagination of readers through vivid imagery and compelling plots. In addition to the basic theoretical underpinnings of Lewis's work, the book describes practical inspiration that Christians today can draw from Lewis for their own work. The author's intention, with Lewis's help, is to show that the defense of the Christian faith is not meant to be a self-conscious argumentative lunge, but rather a friendly invitation that can let the other experience the specific quality of the Christian worldview and show its meaningfulness.
