The 3rd book in the Monster Hunter Memoirs fantasy series

"You're in New Orleans now."

It's a mantra Chad Gardenier has been hearing ever since he started working in the city. In New Orleans, everything's different – the food, the climate, the monsters, and until recently, the MHI agents. But the real reason New Orleans is so different is the ancient monster lurking beneath the city, its mere presence strengthening all dark magic. In the past, creatures like it have destroyed entire armies, and now it’s about to surface in a city where only a few Hunters and one guy with a sword stand in its way. If they don't stop it in time, the whole world will fall under the sway of the worst of the worst.

Now, Chad must gather his friends and dubious allies and prepare for the biggest battle of his life… if the MHI doesn't arrest him first.

Now, if only he could remember where he put the number for a certain annoying princess…
