Shadow

The final volume of Materia Prima's gripping fantasy series.

The Republic of Warsaw is trying to maintain neutrality, balancing between two powers - the Germans and the Russians - but the young state is in more and more trouble. Direct emissaries of the Whisperers are appearing in the enclaves, and the word of power that gave the Poles victory is now known to all sides of the conflict. Samarin and Rudnicki are drawn into a vortex of political and social intrigue, but that is neither the only nor the greatest danger.

Someone swore to kill them. That he'll kill everyone like them. In addition, there is a growing conviction in both Berlin and St Petersburg that the time has come to attack. The Polish army is preparing for a decisive clash, but the command realizes that no strategy will allow it to defeat an enemy that is 20 times outnumbered.

Only time will tell who will die and who will survive.
