Shame: Food for Worms
LP Record The new album "Food for Worms", on the one hand, is a reminder of a certain mortality, and on the other, a celebration of life and the realisation that we all need each other in the end. The album is an ode to friendship and a documentation of the dynamic that can only be shared by five people who grew up together and – against all odds – have become closer. Partly out of defiance, the band has repeatedly pulled together, finding light in uncomfortable contractions and playing on their weaknesses as if they were strengths. Frontman Charlie Steen routinely rips off his shirt on stage to combat his own body image insecurities. All of this is reflected in their live shows, where the band is in top form.
