SharkaSs: Opposites - CD

When SharkaSs released her first ever official recording, the 2016 E.P. with the hit “Plusy a mínusy” (Pros and Cons), it was clear that it wouldn't be her last. This was confirmed in the autumn by the single “Proč to tak cítím jenom já” (Why Am I the Only One Who Feels This Way), followed at the beginning of the year by a joint song with the band Lola, and now the talented singer and rapper is releasing her debut album, Protiklady (Opposites).

Many remember SharkaSs from the competition Česko Slovensko má talent (Czechia Slovakia's Got Talent), where she reached the semi-finals in 2012 and completely wowed judges Jaro Slávik and Lucie Bílá with her freestyle. Unlike others, however, SharkaSs didn't fade away afterwards and truly proved her talent. She has been working hard on her dream the whole time, gaining more and more fans, filming several successful music videos, and now she finally presents her debut album, which is a significant artistic statement.

The album Protiklady was created in close collaboration with producer Blanka Maderová, who also co-wrote most of the songs on the album. The album is very personal and authentic, tackling more mature themes like relationships, life, and more. SharkaSs worked on it intensively for over two years, and it represents a certain culmination of her work so far, as she definitively establishes herself from a teenage sensation into a musical personality. The album will feature the hit singles “Fly To The Blue Sky”, “Plusy a mínusy”, “Dokud to půjde” (As Long As It Goes) and the joint recording “Hra o city” (A Game of Feelings) with the group Lola. Most of the songs are new, however, including the song “To The Wind” with English singer Lazy Hammock. As a bonus on the CD, there will be several acoustic versions of songs from the album Protiklady.

(The digital version of the album includes the bonus track “Tohle nejsi ty” (This Isn't You).)
