Silence Before the Storm - DVD

All secrets eventually come to the surface.
Baker (Matthew McConaughey) has clearly been through a lot. He's healing his life's wounds in the peace and heat of a paradise-like exotic island somewhere in the Caribbean. He makes a living as a fishing guide, has his own boat named Serenity, a house in the village, and a lover (Diane Lane), and drinks away his unpleasant past at the bar.
His tranquil life is shattered like a lightning bolt by his ex-wife Karen (Anne Hathaway). And she brings the storm. She appears out of nowhere and desperately asks Baker to kill her current, abusive husband.
For the sake of their son and a reward of one million dollars, he is to take her husband on a fishing trip and throw him to the sharks in the middle of the ocean. Baker initially refuses, but the calm waters of the Caribbean paradise are now irrevocably disturbed. Guilt and fear for his son begin to haunt him even more, and he starts to consider the proposal. The subsequent wave of passion, events, and twists will reveal even the most hidden secrets.
