Skoumal Petr: Kampak runs, hedgehog - CD

A compilation of playful songs by Petr Skoumal for both young and old. This time, the selection includes not only songs from Skoumal's collections *Kdyby prase mělo křídla* (If a Pig Had Wings), *Jak se loví gorila* (How to Hunt a Gorilla), and *Pečivo* (Pastries), but also songs from the titles *Dejte mi pastelku, nakreslím pejska* (Give Me a Crayon, I'll Draw a Doggy) and *Pučmeloud a včelí medvídci* (Bumble-Bill and the Honey Bears).

Skoumal inspires the elite of Czech lyricists, but he is also inspired in turn by the witty and playful lyrics of Emanuel Frynta, Zdeněk Svěrák, Jan Vodňanský, and Pavel Šrut.

The author himself sings many of the tracks, either alone or accompanied by child performers. C&K Vocal, Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba, and the boys' choir Pueri Gaudentes also contribute their voices to several songs.

The simplicity and wit of the lyrics make them ideal for children, but the many hidden meanings and musical ingenuity will equally entertain adult listeners.
