LP Record "Jazz Samba" is a groundbreaking 1962 album by American saxophonist Stan Getz and guitarist Charlie Byrd. It played a key role in popularising bossa nova music around the world, especially in the United States. The album was recorded on 13 February 1962 at All Souls Unitarian Church in Washington, D.C. and released on the Verve Records label. "Jazz Samba" features a collection of seven tracks, including the hit "Desafinado", which became a major pop hit upon its release. Other tracks on the album include "Samba Dees Days", "O Pato", "Samba Triste", "Samba De Uma Nota Só" (also known as "One Note Samba"), "É Luxo Só", and "Baía".
