Sting: My Songs (Special Edition - 2x CD) - CD

In autumn 2019, British musician Sting released a special edition and live recording of his successful My Songs, which was originally released in May of that year.
The original My Songs collection features Sting's most celebrated hits dressed up for 2019. "My Songs is essentially my life in song. Some have been reconstructed, some rebuilt, others have been given a new frame, but all are musically set in the present," illustrates the characteristics of a Sting record.

Martin Kierszenbaum, who has worked with Lady Gaga and Robyn in the past, and Dave Audé, who has worked with Bruno Mars and Selena Gomez, are behind the production of My Songs. The mixing of the album was done by Robert Orton (Lana Del Rey/Mumford & Sons).

On the album My Songs: Live contains 11 songs recorded during the My Songs World Tour concerts. Special Edition contains the original album along with a live recording of My Songs: Live.

Sting is one of the most prominent and influential artists. Since his days with The Police in the 1970s, he's become a music industry icon, selling 100 million records and winning some of the most prestigious awards (he's been nominated for 17 Grammys, for example). He is the author of the hits Englishman In New York, Fields Of Gold, Shape Of My Heart, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne and Message In A Bottle.
