Stirling Lindsey: Shatter Me (2014) - CD
The stunning Lindsey Stirling is just releasing her second album!
Twenty-seven-year-old Lindsey Stirling drew attention to herself last year, when her debut album was released worldwide. Named simply Lindsey Stirling, more than 600,000 pieces have been sold, and the American violinist, singer, songwriter and even dancer has become a first-class star thanks to her unique combination of classical violin playing and booming beats. Now Stirling is back with a new album.
Lindsey Stirling named the record Shatter Me and included twelve songs on it. As the author of all the songs herself states, the new album is much more progressive than her debut and at the same time more melodic. In addition to captivating violin playing, Sterling continues to play electronic music and dubstep, which is still on course. Unlike its first film, however, it did not rely only on musical instruments, so the album also contains several vocal songs.
The first single tasting of the album was the dreamy song Beyond The Veil, which met with a very warm reception from the fans. However, the recent release of the title song Shatter Me, which was chosen as the next single, provoked an even stronger reaction. The accompanying video for the mentioned song exceeded 1.3 million views in a single day, which was certainly helped by the guest of the singer Lzzy Hale from the Grammy-winning band Halestrom.
With his second album, Lidnsey Stirling confirms its extraordinary qualities, thanks to which it is currently one of the biggest phenomena. This is confirmed by the current numbers! Her videos have a total of almost 600 million views on Youtube, are watched by 2.5 million fans on Facebook, so far she has sold almost a million singles and has dozens of hopelessly sold-out concerts around the world. It is extremely clear that the release of Shatter Me will not take long for further success.
