Summer of Lost Souls
The story begins to unfold inconspicuously in a small town near Prague. A retiring teacher is spending his last days at work, an Indian family is getting ready to open a restaurant and one-year-old Tadeáš says the word “mummy” as he has many times before.
But somewhere behind all this everyday life, something unusual is hiding.
The former teacher is drowning in despair, alcohol and a desolate past when he happens to meet a mysterious woman and falls completely under her spell. Will he manage to find out where she came from and who she is?
An Indian girl, Kiri, sees things she definitely shouldn't be seeing. The line between reality and illusion is slowly blurring. How solid is it? Does it even exist? And can Kiri still trust herself?
Tadeáš's parents suddenly have to face a situation for which they could not have prepared, one they would never have thought of before. Can they handle it? And what will it all cost them?
Three fates, three perceptions of a world that may not be what it seems. And what if someone who has been here before is walking on it...
