A devilish idea from the StB – a fake state border inside the republic.

Operation KAMENY was perhaps the most audacious provocation by the communist State Security (StB). StB agents put on a 'show' for everyone attempting to leave the country illegally by creating fake borders, complete with fake border patrols and interrogation teams from American, German, and French authorities. During interrogations, StB officers reinforced the detainees' belief that they had genuinely crossed the state border, extracting information from the unsuspecting individuals which was later used in criminal proceedings. Almost two thousand citizens of the Czechoslovak Republic were arrested during this operation.

This is a fictional story of people who crossed that fake state border.
