The Cat King

Fairy tales (not only) for children's ears and hearts

Poet Pavel Šrut was inspired by fairy tales from all parts of the island kingdom - English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh. And because fairy tales from all countries of the world always have something in common (and at the same time differ a bit), we can find here stories about animals and all kinds of magic, scary stories and funny stories from Gotham, which seems to have fallen out of our Kocourkov's eye.

Fairy tales are stories of beauty and justice, told in beautiful language. Let's listen to the sentences of the storytellers from the island realm who enriched the tales with their own legends, legends and myths. And also with verses and humour. As Pavel Šrut writes: "Because they are stories told to Czech children, I tell them with the echo of Czech fairy tales that I hear behind the closed door of my study and my childhood."
