Although he is tortured to death, he reveals nothing about the mysterious illegitimate son. The king's chamberlain, Zikmund Huler, therefore begins a search for Jindřich, while for completely opposite reasons, so do the New Town magistrate Jakub Protiva of Protivec and his friend, Brother Blasius. Who will be quicker? And who is this mysterious Jindřich?
