The Pogues: At The BBC 1984 - LP
The Record Store Day (RSD for short) campaign takes place every year on the third Saturday in April. Its purpose is to support traditional stone music shops. As part of the event, artists all over the world express sympathy for classical music stores and release a variety of rare recordings on their support on physical media, the sale of which can be realized in an old-fashioned way, ie by classical distribution.
Such recordings are often only released in limited series. RSD 2020 also includes vinyl At The BBC 1984 by The Pogues in a circulation of 5,000 pieces.
Pogues became famous at the turn of the eighties and nineties. They played a combination of punk and Celtic music, with live performances contributing to their popularity. The leader of the association, who was well audible even in our region, was the singer Shane MacGowan.
