Spolek SILOU HLASU, z. with. founded by Dita Horochovská and Lukáš Srba in December 2016. The mission of the association is to teach people with impaired fine motor skills of the upper limbs to control the computer by voice in a free course, which allows them to partially integrate back into normal life. It is the only association in the Czech Republic dedicated to this activity. Thanks to the course, clients will learn to comprehensively control the computer by voice (eg control of mouse cursor movement, use of keyboard, Word, internet, etc. ) and writing texts by voice. After completing the course, clients will gain privacy with this ability, independence, freedom, life cycle, and if their state of health allows them and they are interested, the association is able to help them with getting a job.
The voice technologies with which he trains clients were developed by Professor Jan Nouza and his team at the Technical University of Liberec in 2004. Dita Horochovská, who is herself a quadruplegic and can only use a computer through her voice, was the first user of their technologies and her knowledge and practical comments contributed to the creation of their final versions. The employees of the association travel to the clients throughout the Czech Republic to their home environment, because they know that for health and financial reasons they cannot afford to commute to Prague for classes. The association is looking for sponsors from the sponsors to finance the free course as well as to cover the costs associated with traveling for clients. During the existence of the association, it was possible to successfully train more than 20 clients from various regions of the Czech Republic, whose voice control of the computer changed lives for the better.
