The Stein Sisters: My Dance - CD

The core element of the duo's work is their lyrics. They could easily stand alone as poetic speeches. The lyrics balance on the edge of song and poem. But the music is no less interesting, being both authentic and simple. The album was produced by Michal Němec from the band Jablkoň, which you'll notice right from the opening song featuring Johny Jůdl's bassoon.

Compared to their debut album Lilie polní (2002), this record features more guest musicians: Karolina Vančurová - violin, Petr Vizina - drums, Michal Gera - trumpet, Johny Jůdl - bassoon, Filip Spálený - tuba, Pavel Hloušek - bass guitar, and Petr Chlouba - percussion. Michal Němec, the leader of the band Jablkoň, took on the role of producer. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Alexej Charvát's Svengali Studio.
