Charity Project - Tichá cukrárna (The Silent Cake Shop) is a place where people with hearing difficulties create confectionery for distribution to the nearby Tichá Café, or social events and banquets. At present, it mainly employs deaf pastry makers, who prepare homemade cakes or quiche every day. Working at the cake shop provides employees with training to fully develop their creativity and try new recipes and a variety of decorating skills. And all this in a pleasant community of people who communicate in Czech sign language.
