Tlap Tlap: In stock - CD
The band Tlupa Tlap from the small submontane town of Pilníkov is releasing an album called Skladem. The previous two albums were released by this group when they were playing under the name Kaluže.
In the nineties, the members of Tlupa Tlap also appeared in the music and theatre ensemble BAF from Hostinné. The new album, Skladem, is again a mix of genres, a result of having four songwriters in the group. The original Tlupa line-up has been joined by another member, Jana Kaplanová (ex-Traband), completing the trio of Janas in the band, where Jana Pachlová and Jana Paděrová have been playing for over twenty years alongside Martin Pachl, Ondřej Paděra, Honza Bažant, and Matěj Hanč. The title Skladem (In Stock) is no accident and carries a certain double meaning: 'skladem' – the songs are now in stock, but also 's kladem' (with a plus) – which is meant to signify a positive approach to music, lyrics, listeners, and life.
