Traband: Hyjé! - CD

The songs on this album are hidden behind stories with a flavour of fairy tales, myths, and exoticism; there is always some kind of allegory present, a similarity that refers to the present in space and time.

For example, Lano co k nebi nás poutá (A Rope That Binds Us to Heaven) is actually a simple, almost sea shanty-like song and at the same time a confession of faith. Nemám rád trpaslíky (I Don't Like Dwarves) is also about the citizenship within us. Černej pasažér (The Black Passenger) is actually about a life shipwrecked in freedom, and the CD also includes a music video for this hit song. After his collaboration with Michal Horáček, Jarda Svoboda has prepared a balanced collection of Traband songs.
