Ten sets, recorded by the creators of the Semafor Theater, were published by Supraphon once, almost fifty years ago. These are famous albums, known as Jiří Suchý- Písničky, Full of a handful of songs, If a thousand clarinets, A well-paid walk, Christmas cards, Shantan crime, Wandering singers, Jonah and Dr. Mattresses, The Devil of Vinohrady and Poets and Peasants.
In the pockets, copying the first release, a whole set of original albums in the box is released, supplemented not only by interesting and dense bonuses on each of the media, but expanded by the eleventh album with rarities and never-before-released recordings. We can listen to curiosities, early pictures of eighteen-year-old Jiří Suchý, recordings from Reduta, unknown versions of well-known Semaphore songs or unpublished recordings from Semaphore rehearsals. Bonuses on individual sets extend the traffic light disco with interesting and discoverable recordings of well-known hits as well as forgotten or little-known songs.
The set of eleven albums is complemented by a booklet with explanatory texts by ardent fans of the Jonáš Club - the author of the ensemble, Lukáš Berný, and the theatrologist Vladimír Just. The ensemble summarizes the first decade of the Semafor Theater' s existence on gramophone records and will thus be a discovery for experts, experts, enthusiastic supporters of Semafor, but you too who with the work of two brilliant authors, Jiří Suchý and Jiří Šlitr are just getting acquainted.
