Transcendence

“In another life, she was my forever.”

After an unexpected tragedy, Professor Nathaniel Hunt becomes a widower with a baby. He hires a young, educated nanny with an uncomplicated life, an obsession with strange names, and a boyfriend she met at the supermarket.

From their very first meeting, Swayze realises she knows a lot about Nate, even though it all happened before she was born. She knows about the hidden scar on his head, his favourite pizza, and the fact that he cheated on a Spanish test in secondary school. She also knows phrases that are familiar to Nate, and tells him about memories that take him back twenty years to a time when he tragically lost his best friend.

“I'm afraid of what will happen when you realise I'm not her.”

Transcendence is a sensual journey that reveals new possibilities, challenges established beliefs, and explores the age-old question of whether there is life after life.
