Cardboard box with chronologically arranged albums of our country legend!
This set of ten CDs includes the singer' s supraphonic era with the band Penguins, his latest recordings called Happy Old Sun, and a compilation of the biggest hits and single bonuses.
Michal Tučný (1947 - 1995) had already had a very successful engagement with the Greenhorns and the Fešáky, but only the collaboration with the musician and lyricist Zdeněk Rytíř was his real solo promotion. Album collections The Last Cowboy, Michal Tučný' s Barn, How You Want to Live Without Horses, How It Really Was It With Babinský, You Can' t Teach the Old Dog New Tricks and Medicinman Pays for Our Absolute Country Classic. The concert recording from the Valdice prison clearly proved the essence of this music and lyrics even for very special listeners. At the Southern Year, Tučný hopefully moved towards a more electric form of arrangements, the last album also brings very strong songs with the awareness of the temporality of our earthly pilgrimage, and the final Breakfast in the Grass summarizes the best.
Sound-wise, it is a quality-optimal conversion of the original belts with modern studio technology into the form of a new mastering. The narrative box is complemented by a booklet with photographs and personal memories, probably forever the biggest star of country music in the Czech version.
