In the second story about the adventures of the Athena's Club, the daughters of mad scientists embark on a dangerous journey across Europe to rescue another monstrous girl and foil the nefarious plans of the Society of Alchemists once and for all. < br> Mary Jekyll has led a fairly quiet life since she helped Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson solve the Whitechapel murders. She took Beatrice Rappaccini under the roof of her London home, Catherine Moreau, Justine Frankenstein and her sister Diana Hyde, and although there are occasional disputes between them, the members of Athena's club get along so well, how it's possible for five young women of such different natures. However, when Mary receives a telegram with news of Lucinda van Helsing's kidnapping, the Athena Club must immediately set off for the Austro-Hungarian Empire to rescue another girl who has fallen victim to horrific experiments. < br> < br> The Athena's Club members will have a challenging journey through Europe. Paris, Mary and her friends make new friends in Vienna and Budapest, they'll be facing old adversaries, and eventually confront the terrifying Alchemist Society, for it is high time, for monstrous young ladies to overcome the past and begin to shape their own destiny.
