Wild Heart: The Late Harvest - CD
An album that will delight all fans of Michal Ambrož's poetics and rock songwriting in the truest sense of the word. After a traditional three-year interval, the band Divoký srdce has produced its third album with Indies Records, entitled POZDNÍ SBĚR (LATE HARVEST), following the albums V moci noci and Kajuvej.
Divoký Srdce once again delivers its unmistakable style of catchy melodies, underpinned by strong choruses and interesting lyrics. Here you'll find echoes of Irish folk, straightforward rock, the dub influence of The Clash, and a psychedelic haze. Yet the album feels balanced and cohesive. And like a delicious cuvée, POZDNÍ SBĚR combines the vocals of a rock bard, a natural guitar sound, and a casual elegance. Hypnotism is the mantra of almost every track, along with Ambrož's affinity for Native Americans, natural substances, and even American country music.
