Winter in New York

Will the secrets of the past help them find love in the present?

A young English cook, Iris, moves to New York to start over after the death of her beloved mother and an unhealthy relationship. Chance leads her to a small family ice cream shop that is familiar to him. Could this be where the old photo in mom' s album was taken?

In the ice cream shop, we meet attractive Gio. Their favorite business is in danger of being closed because his uncle, the keeper of the family' s secret recipe for vanilla ice cream, is recovering from a stroke and has no memory of making it. When Iris tastes the last batch, she discovers that their ice cream is the same as her mother used to make. But how can he admit to knowing an old family secret when he doesn' t know why Gio' s uncle told his mother?

Iris offers to use her culinary skills to help reconstruct the original recipe. Gradually, however, he becomes closer to Gio and his entire family. When Gio' s uncle returns home, Iris' s secrets may destroy his new life with the man he loves dearly.
