Wohnout: Plejlist 1996-2009 (Reedice 2018) (2x CD) - CD

A re-release of a selection of the best work from the band Wohnout. At the time of its release, the band commented on it as follows: "We're not at an age where we should be looking back too much, but we still thought it was a good idea to recap our work so far. Listening to our old recordings actually grates on us, because we just play the songs differently now, and we wanted to preserve their current state. This resulted in a kind of 'best of' album, which we are now serving up to you on two round, flat discs. The selection grew to twenty-six songs because each one is a favourite in its own way, and getting rid of favourites is truly a dirty and painful job. We've re-recorded the songs and now, finally, they sound to our current satisfaction. The discs also feature a number of guests, from Xavier Baumaxa to Skyline, Lety Mimo, and the guys from Divokej Bill. Yours, Wohnout."

The band Wohnout recently began its third decade of existence. The quartet of Matěj and Honza Homola (guitars and vocals), Jiří Zemánek (bass guitar), and Zdeněk (Fenek) Steiner are still having fun together, so they are planning to release a new album this year.
