You Hissers: The Tramp! - CD

Album The Tramp! group Ty Syčáci, loosely follows the album Eldorado from 2013. Together they form two parts of one whole, the last part of the Syčáci trilogy about children, parents and grandparents, which was preceded by experimental “operas“ SSSS (2002) and Lišák je lišák (2005).

Czech tramps, expelled from their country three times for free-spirited songs, travel around the world during the twentieth century, until they reach the West until they get back home. All the while they are looking for Home, Speech, Song, Truth on their travels. They are initiated into various traditions of sacred art. They are on the trail of revealing the secrets of Music and Poetry. They find a treasure whose extraordinary value is not easy to appreciate. Their grandchildren try to do it with the help of retro-futuristic tramp songs.

We dedicate this work to Grandparents with joy and gratitude.
