Menofem 90 tablets
Menofem is an herbal medicine intended for adult women to relieve menopausal problems (menopause) such as hot flashes and excessive sweating. The package contains 90 coated tablets.
Dosage and method of use
The usual dose for adult menopausal women is 1 coated tablet twice daily, morning and evening (maximum 2 coated tablets per day).
Method of submission:
Oral administration (administration by mouth). Take the coated tablets with liquid. Don't chew them or smell them.
Duration of treatment:
If symptoms persist or worsen over 6-8 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not take Menofem without consulting your doctor for more than 6 months.
Contraindications
Read the package leaflet carefully. Not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Not suitable for pregnant and lactating women. Patients with a history of liver disease should not take Menofem without consulting a physician. Do not take Menofem if you are allergic to the plant Cimicifuga racemosa (grape hyacinth) or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
Notice
Consult a doctor: if you have a history of liver disease (liver tests are needed), if you are experiencing signs and symptoms suggestive of liver damage (fatigue, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and eyes or severe pain in the upper abdomen with a feeling of nausea and vomiting or dark urine) then stop taking Menofem and consult your doctor immediately, if you experience vaginal bleeding or notice unclear or new symptoms, if you have been treated or are undergoing treatment for breast cancer or other hormone-dependent cancers, if you're taking estrogens, if symptoms worsen while you are taking this medicine, if any of the above conditions apply to you, do not take Menofem without consulting your doctor.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 30 °C. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Keep the blisters in the box. Do not use this product after the expiry date on the box.
Shelf life:
It refers to the last day of that month. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
