The main special feature of this dryer is the DryProtect technology, which guarantees short drying times and consistently low energy consumption. The TWC 640 WP has a maintenance-free heat exchanger, so there is no need to clean it. Enjoy modern convenience by connecting the dryer to the Miele app. You will receive one fragrance flacon with the dryer and a voucher for another one free of charge. The A+++ energy class guarantees energy-efficient drying. The highest condensation efficiency ensures minimal moisture loss. The Miele dryer is very quiet and designed to reduce airflow and vibration noise to a minimum. Synchronise the dryer with your washing machine
With the Wash2Dry link-up function, your washing machine automatically sends data to the dryer after washing, which then selects the right drying programme. Simply move the laundry from the washing machine to the dryer, switch it on and select Wash2Dry. Enjoy perfectly dried clothes effortlessly.
Gentle drying for delicate laundry
Save time when washing at 40°C and subsequently drying your laundry, while giving your clothes optimal care. After washing at 40°C, you can simply put the laundry into the Miele TWC 640 WP dryer without needing to sort it. Low air temperatures ensure the protection of delicate textiles, especially when using the additional DryCare 40 function for various drying programmes.
Minimal moisture loss
The MIELE TWC 640 WP dryer achieves the best seal, resulting in less leakage of warm, humid air and thus guaranteeing the highest class of condensation efficiency. High moisture loss can cause mould to grow on walls and can damage the entire building structure, which you don't have to worry about with a Miele dryer.
Efficient and maintenance-free drying with DryProtect
The DryProtect system helps Miele dryers maintain high performance throughout their entire service life. The patented filter system (patent EP 2 455 537) contributes to consistently short programme times and lower energy consumption, saving time and costs while reducing wear and tear on the dryer. In addition, the effective PROtect system protects the heat exchanger, so it does not need to be cleaned.
Long appliance lifespan
In the MIELE TWC 640 WP dryer, the heat exchanger is protected by an efficient filter system and does not need to be cleaned. The dryer will alert you when the filter in front of the exchanger needs cleaning.

The intelligent filter in the dryer gets rid of annoying lint. Maintaining the filter is very convenient and easy. We recommend cleaning the filter after every drying cycle.

Heat pump dryers are characterised by high energy efficiency, so they dry your laundry exceptionally economically. The low temperature used by the heat pump technology saves you money, but also protects the fibres of your laundry.

Miele fragrance flacons beautifully scent your favourite clothes during drying. The MIELE TWC 640 WP tumble dryer has one fragrance slot. You can choose from several different fragrance options. The fragrant laundry will delight your senses for up to 4 weeks. The fragrances come from a family business in the south of France.
Excellent quality and long lifespan
While some car engines are tested for 3000 hours, Miele tests the performance of its dryers for up to 10000 hours. During development, individual T1 dryer models and basic components had to go through up to 5000 drying cycles, i.e., 5 drying cycles per week used for 50 weeks a year with various programmes. This gives you a reliable appliance that consistently delivers excellent performance.

The MIELE TWC 640 WP tumble dryer has the PerfectDry function, which detects the mineral content of the water and adjusts the drying process accordingly.
AddLoad
The AddLoad function lets you add any forgotten items of clothing even after the programme has started, right up until it's almost finished. To use this feature, simply press the Start/Add Laundry button.
Prevents laundry from creasing
If you don't have time or simply don't want to take the laundry out immediately after the programme finishes, the anti-crease function tumbles the laundry at regular intervals for up to two hours, preventing it from creasing inside the dryer.

Miele enamels the front panels of all its washing machines, tumble dryers, and washer-dryers. This high-quality enamel is scratch-resistant, corrosion-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant, easy to clean, and colour-fast.
