In addition, the effective PROtect system protects the heat exchanger, so it does not need to be cleaned.

After a 40°C wash, you can simply put your laundry in the Miele TWL 680 WP dryer without needing to sort it. Low air temperatures protect delicate fabrics, especially when you use the additional DryCare Extra 40 function for various drying programmes.
No more unpleasant odours
Miele's SteamCare system refreshes clothes and easily removes creases. The SteamCare system lets you add a Pre-ironing function to many programmes or use it as a separate PowerFresh programme. For best results, you can add Miele's exclusive DryFresh flacon, which effectively neutralises odours. For example, the smell of cigarette smoke is reduced 90% more effectively than by regular airing in fresh air. The DryFresh® programme then removes unpleasant odours during drying without the need for washing, using an extended aeration phase that gently cares for your laundry.

The MIELE TWL 680 WP tumble dryer protects laundry from creasing
Save time and effort ironing your clothes. With the "Pre-ironing" programme, creases from the washing machine are smoothed out with steam, significantly reducing creasing. This programme is ideal for both dry and wet textiles. If you don't have time or simply don't want to remove the laundry immediately after the programme finishes, the anti-crease protection loosens the laundry at regular intervals so it doesn't get creased inside the dryer.

Heat pump dryers are characterised by high energy efficiency, so they dry your laundry in an extremely economical way. The low temperature used by the heat pump technology saves your wallet, but also the fibres of your laundry.

AddLoad
Thanks to the AddLoad function, you can add any forgotten item of laundry even after the programme has started, almost right up until it finishes. To use this function, simply press the Start/Add Laundry button.
Synchronise your dryer with your washing machine
With the Wash2Dry link-up function, your washing machine automatically sends data to the dryer after washing, which then selects the right drying programme on its own. Just move the laundry from the washing machine to the dryer, turn it on and select Wash2Dry. Enjoy perfectly dried clothes without the effort. A Wi-Fi connection is required.
Reversible door opening
