The MikroTik E62iUGS-2axD5axT WiFi router brings the modern Wi-Fi 6 wireless standard to homes and small offices. This dual-band router operates in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with a total maximum transfer speed of up to 2,974Mbps. The device works in router or access point operating modes and offers complete control over network traffic. The design allows for easy wall mounting and efficient cooling of internal components. At the heart of the entire device is the RouterOS v7 operating system, which gives administrators a wide range of configuration options. Management is handled via the intuitive MikroTik mobile app, a web interface, or advanced cloud tools. Features such as an FTP server, port forwarding, DMZ, UPnP, and a full DHCP server with address reservation are available. The system supports advanced QoS network traffic management to prioritise important services and applications.

The wireless network uses 802.11a/n/ac/ax standards with support for Wi-Fi 6 technology for a stable connection for many devices simultaneously. In the 2.4GHz band, the transfer speed reaches 574Mbps, while in the 5GHz band, the triple-chain radio provides a real throughput of up to 900Mbps. Five integrated antennas with a gain of 6.5dBi create stable wireless signal coverage throughout the entire area. Users can enjoy smooth streaming of high-definition video and fast downloading of large volumes of data.

The protection of transmitted data is ensured by modern encryption protocols WPA2, WPA2-PSK, WPA3, and WPA3-Personal. The integrated firewall prevents unauthorised access from the outside, and the Guest Zone feature allows you to create an isolated network for guests. The system supports the creation of secure VPN tunnels for remote connections and allows for easy network division into VLANs for increased security. Thanks to these features, sensitive company data can be reliably separated from regular internet traffic.

A physical connection to the surrounding network is provided by five Gigabit Ethernet ports and one high-speed 2.5G SFP slot for a direct fibre-optic connection. Power is supplied either by a classic DC jack or by the flexible PoE-in technology. The device also includes a passive PoE-out port, which powers other connected network elements directly from the router. The port selection is complemented by a USB port for sharing data storage on the local network.
