The Mikrotik SXTsq-5axD Outdoor WiFi Access Point is a compact and lightweight wireless solution that newly brings support for the modern Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. Thanks to the RouterOS Level 4 license, the device can be used not only as a client unit (CPE) for signal reception, but also as a standalone Access Point. The durable IP55-certified chassis ensures reliable operation even in harsh weather conditions and the design allows easy installation on poles or railings.

Powerful hardware and antenna system
The heart of the device is a dual-core ARM processor (IPQ-5010) clocked at 800 MHz, complemented by 256 MB of RAM. The wireless part operates in the 5 GHz band and offers transmission speeds of up to 1,200 Mbps. The integrated 16 dBi gain antenna is designed for short to medium distance links and can handle a range of around 3 km in built-up urban environments. In line-of-sight conditions, it can make connections over distances exceeding 10 km.
Connectivity and power
One Gigabit Ethernet port is used for network connectivity, which also supports passive PoE power in the 12-28V range. Low power consumption (maximum 6 W) makes operation energy efficient. The package includes everything needed for immediate deployment, including a power adapter, PoE injector and metal mounting tape.
