The Netgear GS105PE switch provides up to 10 times faster data transfer rates than traditional Ethernet. The PoE power supply included with the switch is a practical addition that makes it unnecessary to plug the switch into an electrical outlet. This communication switch can divide Ethernet signals to two other devices.
This device provides excellent, reliable data transfer even in the most demanding traffic. The Netgear GS105PE is able to recognise the importance of individual data streams, giving them assigned priority. For example, when you make a phone call via Skype, your call transfer will take priority over less relevant data being used at that time. This solution effectively eliminates networking bottleneck problems and increases communication fluency.
The Netgear GS105PE switch is also equipped with five ports to which you can connect a variety of network devices at varying current speeds: 10, 100 and 1000mb/sec. The LEDs on the front panel communicate the current connectivity levels. The switch is encased in a durable compact metallic finish enabling you to place this device anywhere, including wall mounting.
