Evil can live just over your fence
When Lena helps her teenage son gather sounds for a school media studies project, she doesn't expect the directional microphone to pick up a conversation between their neighbours, the Morgans. She's certain they're planning a crime.
Her family and friends assure her she must have misheard. After all, the Morgans are a respectable, well-to-do couple in their sixties. They've never had any trouble with the law.
Yet Lena can't stop thinking about it. What if she didn't mishear? What if they're about to do something terrible, and she's the only one who can stop it? And perhaps ease her conscience about her own dark past…
