You've probably already experienced a power supply interruption minutes before you saved that important document. The unsaved work is irretrievably lost, and you have to start all over again. Such tragic scenarios can be forestalled by the nJoy Horus Plus 2000 backup source, or UPS. This hardware is practically a battery reservoir that provides power for all types of computers and devices that need electricity to function. The nJoy Horus Plus 2000 UPS features the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is seen as the most basic form when power fails because it switches power to the UPS unit itself. The line interactive UPS also adds power protection to prevent damage from electrical surges from the grid.

A key attribute is the UPS run time during outages. This depends on the energy consumption – for example, at half-load (50%), the backup time can last up to three times as long. The load of the UPS governs the operating time, which at maximum load is 1 min and at a load of 50%, it's 4 min. It is therefore essential to determine the power consumption of the connected electronics and it is a good idea to add some spare power left. The nJoy Horus Plus 2000 shows the apparent power as 2000, but in reality, the actual power usage is 1200 W.
