The nJoy Horus Plus 600 UPS works with line-interactive topology and delivers a real power of 360W at an apparent power of 600VA. At half load, it powers connected devices for 7 minutes, which provides plenty of time to save your work and safely shut down the system. This line-interactive UPS uses built-in automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which actively corrects network fluctuations without switching to the battery, thus extending its lifespan. All operating statuses are clearly displayed on the interactive LCD touchscreen. The nJoy Horus Plus 600 UPS supports a cold start function for starting without mains power and automatically restarts when power is restored.
The line-interactive topology efficiently handles a wide input voltage range of 170–280VAC and maintains a stable 230V output. In battery mode, it regulates the output voltage with a deviation of ±10%. The switch to battery power occurs with a typical response time of 2 to 6 milliseconds. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) uses two stages to boost the voltage (Boost) and one to reduce it (Buck), protecting connected electronics from damage without unnecessarily draining the battery. In battery mode, it generates a simulated sine wave output signal. The unit offers comprehensive protection against various electrical grid risks, including overvoltage and undervoltage, overload, deep battery discharge, and overcharging. This protects not only the UPS itself but also the connected appliances.
The central element for control and monitoring is the touchscreen LCD. It displays key operating parameters, such as input and output voltage, current load level, battery capacity, and the overall status of the UPS unit. For advanced management from a computer, a USB communication port and ViewPower software are provided. This tool enables detailed monitoring and configuration of automatic actions, such as a controlled operating system shutdown during a prolonged power outage. The system is complemented by audible alarms that alert you to a switch to battery mode, low capacity, or overload.
The UPS contains one GP07122L battery, with a typical charging time to 90% capacity of between 4 and 6 hours. The battery runtime depends on the load: at 25% load (90W), it reaches 21 minutes, while at 50% load (180W), it provides 7 minutes. The cold start function starts the UPS directly from the battery even without mains power. It also offers an automatic restart after power is restored and an Off-mode charging function, which recharges the battery even when the unit is switched off.
To power protected devices, it offers two Schuko sockets that provide both battery backup and effective surge protection. It also integrates protection for a data or telephone line through two RJ11 ports (input/output).
