Hericium (otherwise also Lion's mane) is a popular TCM remedy. Hericium Nupreme was cultivated in Jiāngsū Province, China. To be absolutely sure of its quality, it has been tested in the Czech Republic for the presence of microorganisms and heavy metals. Under the name Lion's Mane hides a mushroom with the technical name Coral Hedgehog (Lat. Hericium). The fungus is one of the jewels of the TCM and in nature you would find it on the trunks of deciduous trees, especially beeches and oaks. In Asia, it is sought after for its unusual taste reminiscent of seafood. It is a very rare species of edible mushroom with a high content of bioactive substances.
Where does Nupreme Hericium come from?
It may be strange, but this information is not available from the usual distributors. But we at Nupreme can tell you that our Hericium extract NUPREME comes from the northwestern Chinese province of Jiāngsū. What does it contain? The dietary supplement Hericium Nupreme is an extract from the fruit of the mushroom with an ideal ratio of active ingredients: 30% polysaccharides. It is an extract from mycelium that is artificially cultivated in an organic substrate. As far as extraction is concerned, our grower and processor uses double extraction with hot water and alcohol.
How to use?
Hericium should be taken 3 weeks a month and skipped 1 week, or 5 days a week and 2 days off, preferably 20 minutes before meals, with still water or tea. The mushroom is suitably supplemented with vitamin C, which supports its effects.
- Adults: 2-3 capsules per day.
- Children: 1 capsule per day.
- Do not take Hericium when you are going through an acute illness (e.g. flu, tonsillitis, bronchitis, etc. ), have an allergy to mushrooms or are taking medication to reduce blood clotting (e.g. Warfarin). If you have any doubts, see your doctor.
Can I consume it in other ways than in capsules?
Hericium is a very pleasantly aromatic mushroom, so you don't have to worry about it having a bitter taste like reishi. The powder from the capsules can be added to smoothies, coffee (do not pour boiling water! ), milk, hot chocolate or juice. You will not only fool the rebellious adult who has "his opinion" about these novelties, but also the children. Remember, however, that this is a dietary supplement, so do not give to children under 3 years of age. This product has also undergone analyses. We regularly check our products and perform independent laboratory analyses in Czech accredited laboratories. We carry out heavy metal and microbiological analyses on every batch of all raw materials that we import from third world, i.e. non-EU countries.

Recommended dosage
Take 2-3 capsules daily for 5 days a week and 2 weeks off or 3 weeks and a week off, 20 minutes before meals, washed down with still water or tea; the powder can be poured from the capsule into the drink and drunk.
