Ophthalmo-Septonex is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic non-purulent conjunctivitis, eyelid inflammation and non-purulent superficial inflammation of the cornea.

The product can be used by adults, adolescents and children. Unless otherwise directed by a physician, 1 drop is instilled into the lower conjunctival sac every hour to two hours for severe inflammation and 1 drop 1-3 times a day for prolonged inflammation. The product must not be used for more than 10 days. Dripping procedure: with the thumb of one hand, pull down the lower eyelid, tilt the head slightly and look upwards, and with the other hand drop 1 drop into the eye.
The product can be used by adults, adolescents and children. Read the package insert carefully.
Always keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Keep the bottle in the box to protect the product from light. Protect from cold and frost. After the first opening of the vial, the product can be used for 4 weeks. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
Over-the-counter medicine. Read the full package leaflet carefully before taking this medicine. Medicinal substances are: carbethopendecinii bromidum 0.2 mg, acidum boricum 19,0 mg, natrii tetraboras decahydricus 0.5 mg in 1 ml of solution.

Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva - the thin translucent membrane that covers the inside of the eyelid and the outside of the eyeball. The main role of the conjunctiva is the protection of the eye from variousvarious influences and the intrusion of harmful substances and microorganisms. The incubation period of conjunctivitis isrelatively short, sometimes only a few hours before a person begins to have discomfort in the eye. Intermediate symptoms of conjunctivitis include redness of the eye, swollen eyelids, tears, burning, cutting the eye, alsounpleasant sensation of a foreign object in the eye and its sensitivity to light. Conjunctivitis has variouscauses, e.g. viruses, bacteria, allergens, but also staying in dusty or dry environments, contact with irritants, e.g. chlorinated water in swimming pools. In bacterial inflammation, the production of purulent discharge appears and the eye is usually blinded in the morning. For more severe inflammations, especially purulent ones, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
